Heudiasyc UMR7253


Heudiasyc Logo |leftHeudiasyc UMR7253 (Heuristique et Diagnostic des Systèmes Complexes Lab.) is a joint research unit between the UTC and CNRS, operating in the field of information and digital sciences. The project team has skills in Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality and Human-Computer Interaction.


Team Members:

Heudiasyc UMR7253 is in charge of two Work Packages:

  1. Conception of interactive and computational narratives
    • A formal dynamic users’ profile and preferences for the personalization of experiences (in collaboration with Emissive/Excurio).
    • AI-based orchestration engine for computational narratives.
  2. Creation of the interaction, immersion, and MR environments

Borelli


Borelli Logo |leftBorelli is a joint research unit between ENS Paris Saclay and Université Paris Cité. The unit has skills in Human Factors Engineering (HFE) and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) in the field of emerging technologies.

Team Members:

  • Julien Nelson: Assistant Professor in HFE, expertise in VR.
  • Lise Haddouk: Assistant Professor HDR, clinical psychologist, interested in emotional reactions with emerging technologies.

Borelli is in charge of the Work Package:

  • Evaluation of the User Experience

CHS


CHS Logo |leftCHS (Centre d’histoire sociale des mondes contemporains Lab.) is a joint research unit between CNRS and Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne (UMR 8058). It is dedicated to shedding light on the social, cultural, and political history of urban societies and social movements.

Team Members:

  • Fabien Théofilakis: Assistant Professor, working on WWII and its memory in Western Europe.
  • Alexandre Millet: Postdoctoral researcher, specialist on the French prisoners of war at the Rawa-Ruska camp.


CHS is in charge of the Work Package:

  • Writing a new history of internment and deportation.

COSTECH


COSTECH Logo |left COSTECH (Connaissance Organisation et Systèmes TECHniques Lab.) is a laboratory of the UTC. It is a multidisciplinary laboratory bringing together researchers working on Human / Technical / Society relations.


Team Members:

  • Serge Bouchardon: Professor of Information and Communication Sciences, conducts research on digital creation, in digital literature/writing.
  • Bruno Bachimont: Philosopher and computer scientist, specialized in logic, documentary computing, and digital philosophy.
  • Robin Monje (AI PhD)

COSTECH is in charge of the Task: * Interactive narratives, focusing on narratological questions raised in the issue of historical empathy. ==== Mémorial de l’internement et de la déportation – Camp de Royallieu ==== —- CHS Logo |left The Mémorial de l’internement et de la déportation – Camp de Royallieu is one of the most emblematic places in France in the German occupying army’s policy of persecution and repression.

Team Members: * Aurélien Gnat: Historian, art history specialist, director. * Gabrielle Perissi: Heritage and historical archives specialist, assistant director. * Julia Maitre: Collections manager. The Mémorial de l’internement et de la déportation – Camp de Royallieu is involved in all the work packages.

Emissive** (Excurio) is a company that creates immersive VR experiences. They notably work on cultural projects (Khéops VR, The Enemy inside the heads of combatants in conflict zones, one-on-one with the Mona Lisa). MR and personalization are new challenges for them. Team Members: * Emmanuel Guerriero: Director, Jérémy Boistière (Project Manager)
